Oxygenated Bleach / Muriatic Acid
« on: March 31, 2014, 04:15:34 pm »
Hi Everyone.
I have been asked to remove some heavy red staining on two gable ends of a bungalow. And I have been looking into different ways to achieve this.

The trusted and old fashioned way of Muriatic acid and the new eco friendly Oxygenated bleach method.

Can any of you guys offer me some help and the pros and cons of using either solution, other than the obvious dangers of the Acid (spillage, damaging grass etc) and the pros of the Oxygentated bleach being more eco friendly but less powerful?

Also any advice on application methods of either solutions?

Many thanks in advance on all help :-)

Mutatis acid is American for hydrochloric acid and is for cement and mortar removal, also rust removal on certain metals... won't do much in the way of removing soiling mate
