Wages / takings
« on: March 24, 2014, 04:54:35 pm »
This is aimed at those who employ

Juast after an idea on hourly / daily rates for staff  (non driver )

Also this would mean 2 men in 1 van ...

So next question per day what would you expect the takings or want the takings to be per day ?

Thanks
Paul

Properly employed? Sick pay, holidays etc... C.£60 a day.
Subbed-needs to be 3 figures IMO.
But you will get boys saying I wouldn't pay more than £20 and the ones that say I wouldn't do it for less than £500 a day.

Ok

So bottom line cost to employer would be more ... Than £60 when you factor in tax / ni ... Based on full time what's the total cost ?

where do i employ somebody for £60 a day lol.do i have to sort out the tax national insurance etc.

if 2 men are earning £300 a day as stated there isn't much point me taking on an extra bloke as wages would be up slightly.
id rather employ sum1 for £60 pay him for what I'm doing and have the day off lol.

 ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Tax & NI would be c.30% so £80odd.
But holiday pay too?
You probably want to get him making you £100ish a day to break even on wages.
But then you've got equipment, fuel, repairs etc etc on top of that...
