Getting a bit sick of the weight of the hose reel thinking of using just pole hose throughout.
Anyone tried getting rid of the microbore or minibore and just using Pole Hose on the reel?
The last stuff from Gardiners was so tough I reckon it will stand up to it.
Obviously you will have more pressure in the smaller bore but I think a 100 psi pump should cope.

There's been a few posts about this in the past and I've been tempted.  What sounds most practical is just using 30 meters of pole hose attached to your reel hose.

it is a good idea, I'm tempted to try it.

I remember the massive difference switching from half-inch hose to microbore.

I bet 60 or 100m of pole hose on a reel would be like lifting a feather compared to microbore

30m is ok I stick on the pole but lasts about 8 months unless you are unlucky. use all weather or pu only
