Renault trafic panel repair ?
« on: March 13, 2014, 04:07:19 pm »
I have just had an argument with a low wall while turning, and it has crunched the bottom of the side panel ( the panel behind the drivers door ), and a bit of the rear wheel arch !      I don't think it will pull out, so would If it needed the full panel replacing how much do reckon it is going to cost ?
I can drive ok, but it doesn't look good, just need to prepare myself for the coming shock  ???

Did exactly the same on my Ducato.
N/S sliding door replaced back panel by wheel arch repaired.................................£1800 Sorry
When through my insurance company and went from full ncd down to two years :-(

Lost the van for a week and when it came back it had been sprayed with a different shade of silver, good luck

How olds the van?
If it's a little older like 2005 not worth doing but maybe on a 3k plus van 07 on it could be.
No slider that side and don't laugh but these dent guys can move some major creases.
Might be worth checking if you could lift some and fill barcode and respray
