WFP issue ?
« on: February 11, 2014, 03:18:51 pm »
I have noticed that after cleaning a window and
Letting it dry the surface of the window is slightly tacky to
Touch. Is this right? Or am I being a paranoid newbie again.
Any advice please. TDS 0 and a relatively new gardener brush.

what do you mean by tacky?

the only issues i have ever had is milky runs from seals, or when the tds is to high white spotting (this can also happen if cleaning in hard wind and rain)

some windows that have been exposed to leaking gutters or roofs may have caused limescale to form on windows, this has a texture to it and apparently some kitchen limescale remover can solve this? but i wouldn't know i haven't tried.

Completely normal. Rub a razor over a wfp window and it will want to dig in and scratch the hell out of it. Thats coz no greasy film is present that trad leaves behind :)

You might get a few complaints if you go round poking all
Your freshly cleaned windows though. :)
