Hello.  I haven't bought anything yet, but planning on going WFP over the next month or two.

I tested my water with a TDS meter and I'm at 190ppm.  I am also on a water meter (which is already £70 a month), so from what I've read a 4040 Ro would be best going into a DI to polish it off for less water wasted?

I was thinking of just making a 25l trolley, or buying one - reason behind this is my van has just cost me a fortune to keep on the road, looking at getting a new van later in the year so didn't want to get a van mounted system at the moment, until I get a new van.  I'm quite happy to lug a few 25l drums around...

Here's the bits I was thinking of getting, can anyone advise me if this lot would do?

I'm toying with the idea of making the trolley, been reading a lot of posts about people making them, I guess it's better/easier to fix if something goes wrong?

Also get a 1000litre ibc (should be quite cheap if you buy second hand locally) and produce your pure into that.
Then you can transfer it into your barrels rather than priduce straight into them...

A lot of sodding about using 25l barrels, just ratchet strap a 350l tank into the van which you can remove with ease when you upgrade vans.

Trouble is, ratchet strap it to what?  I'm pretty bad with most DIY...

In a van setup is everything pretty much the same as it would be on a trolley setup or would I need more gear?

I run 2 vans but have just removed the tank out of one and using trolley, this is so we can utilise the vehicle for other things, went out with my employee yesterday and I was just as quick with the trolley, a really good tip tho is to get a 100 metre hose reel that links to the trolley, this is for the odd jobs where access is limited or you have to ladder over a gate to get round.
