BANG at 6 this morning!!!
« on: February 03, 2014, 08:34:46 am »
I left my DI\RO system on last night (200 GPD) so it filled up for this week.

well.... at 6 this morning I heard BANG and then water running...
Lucky for me my wife was awake getting ready for work and shouts that the kitchen is flooding.

I went down and one of the 100gpd housings has CRACKED and was ping water everywhere.

Stupid me I walked over and leaned out the window and turned off the tap (it felt weird)

The electricity plug was FULL of water and started to get hot so I turned it upside down and water came pouring out.

I thought today was going to be bad but I think it was my lucky day I didn't get electrocuted.
 :P :-X

Bad news mate, but some very good news in there too.  Instead of typing this on here, your day could have ended very differently.  Lucky, lucky boy. :o
