Sorry, will clarify (hopefully)
The unit has a 1 inch mains supply with good pressure (compared to my house) from there the plumbing is standard household copper pipe to this I added a spur and washing machine tap, the thread here takes standard hosepipe connector then I use reinforced 1/2 inch hose to pump (approx 2 feet long - due to close access to mains and short straight pipe work I get a really good flow rate. ( when at house it only had a 3/4 mains inlet then had to travel 20 feet past several take offs and corners to reach the pump which led to a sluggish flow )
4040 RO systems are pretty straight forward to set up and well worth the investment for volume production in a quick time
