What brush do you find best?
« on: January 03, 2014, 02:16:00 pm »
What brush do you find best for first cleans and general cleans?

Find medium sill brush good for plastic and conny's but not great on most windows..

Gardiner of course..  ;)

Cheers!

Xtreme brushes are hard to beat but they don't wear well or last long enough.
So for me its the Superlite medium mixed.

extreme stiff brushes with hot water for most regular day to day window cleaning.

radius sill brush(stiff bristle)for conny roofs,UPVC cleaning

regular SL stiff bristle brush for very dirty first cleans with dirty frames

regular SL flocked brush for solar panel cleaning on a 90 degree carbon gooseneck
price higher/work harder!

Thanks for your replies all.

Looks like I need to get myself a stiff brush then.

Cleaned a local school with a sill brush which didn't do great on the filthy windows although the ones that were cleaner weren't bad.

Thanks,

Best brush i have used by far in my unger n lite sill brush (the bright green brush with quick release jets)
Great scrubbing power for first cleans i find, much more sturdy and stronger than any gardiner brush i have used although not as light which isnt a prob as its still a light brush.

Probably best to use a flocked brush on filthy cleans. Mono brushes tend to cut through the dirt in lines I've found.
