« on: November 28, 2013, 12:36:22 pm »
We have a new grout colorant system available.  If anyone would like to GENUINELY try it then I will send you a white one free of charge to play with for your thoughts.  Please don't ask for one for the sake of it as the deal is we send you one free of charge and we get the appropriate feedback.

If you want one please call the office on 0121 773 2450 or e mail tilinglogistics@hotmail.com there will be a postal cost of £2.99 to send one which we will refund off your next order or if you want any other items at the same time then clearly there is no charge.

Hi Kevin

Is it more durable than the current ones you sell.  What is the cure time, and would it stand up to high pressure spinner as a maintance clean.

I had a sample from a guy in American, and his stuff was bomb proof and we had to Dremel it off the grout to remove it as an overnight dwell with stripper did not touch it.  That one was designed for high pressure cleaning

You and I both seem to look at Grout Colorant in different lights.

I see grout colorant as a product that will freshen up old grout or change the colour of old grout completely.  The grout colorant that Aqua Mix do is essentially a formulation of Epoxy paint so the advantages are oince the grout is treated with the AM Grout Colorant you have immediately waterproofed the grout and by doing so stopped contaminants from penetrating and staining.  What you have not done is stopped the grout from getting dirty but you have made it easier to clean because instead of a porous surface of sand and cement you have a smooth painted surface but it still needs a wipe and keeping clean just like any paint.

People often say to me when purchasing Grout Colorant that they are so happy becausethey have changed their grout from say white to light grey that it looks so much better and it doesn't get dirty so quick!  What a load of bunkum it gets dirty just as quick it is just easier to clean and you don't see so much dirt because of the colour change.

So back to your question!  Will it tolerate a spinner?  I have no idea!  Why even use a spinner after treating with grout colourant?  Not necessary IMHO.  The new Grout Colorant system is different it is very easy to apply, it is already loaded into an applicator, and therefore a lot quicker with less clean up.  Is it better than Aqua Mix Grout Colorant?  No idea!  I just want to get thoughts on the new one because it is approached from a different angle!  I know it will sell to DIYER's in fact I anticipate sales of over a 250,000 units in the first half of 2014 because of the ease of application.  Look how many people buy shoe polish with applicator sponges as opposed to good old fashion Kiwi Wax polish just because it doesn't require two brushes and a duster as well!  But which one does the best job and rejuvenates the leather at the same time?

People want speed and ease of application not hassle

Hi Kevin

thank for you reply.  I was just under the impression from your post that it was new colour seal you had sourced, to replace your current ones.  I made an assumption and presumed it had added benefits such has longevity and durability, which hopfully it will.  Im just searching for a colour sealer that is ready available, on a next day delivery, that can be applied to the harshest of environment and provide me with a 10 year guarantee, and can have grease and dirt cleaned off with a quick maintenance clean, spinner or no spinner.

good look with the diyers, you will be expanding again with sale figures like that

No I doubt we will replace Aqua Mix Grout Colorant as we have never had any failures with it yet that I know of.  Furthermore it is the most popular selling Grout Colorant in the World even though it is not the cheapest.  Good luck in your quest for something that is indestructible on Sand & Cement though!
