eBay pre filters..
« on: October 20, 2013, 06:38:11 pm »
Following on from the other thread about a dodgy pre filter I just wondered how many buy from EBay rather than window cleaning suppliers. I still use my main suppliers but eBay does more than often  be very very competitive but are the quality of the filters the same?

I usually buy my membranes from Pure Freedom, but I bought some off ebay this time to save a few quid as they looked almost identical to the Pure Freedom ones, but alas I have noticed a significant reduction in my output of pure water.
Pre filters might be fine to go down the budget route though, but would never but cheap membranes again

I know that some on eBay are sold by shop suppliers anyway, so they getting money from shop sales and eBay sales. I know Colin's pure water does this !!! 🌞

Do you mean collins water products?
I brought my r.o from there (450gpd) and a 10 sets of prefilters...
Great service when needed the odd bits sending out and sorted out few issues, that were my fault (ordered to my old address!!)
Filters seem pretty solid, change them after about 3-4 months usually
