mini poles ???
« on: October 05, 2013, 04:22:48 pm »
hi guys im looking to buy a mini pole for the wife for just downstairs work. I have looked at a few and even seen the gardiner mini pole close up, trouble is I find them too small to handle I currently use a xtel 17ft pole and when closed is approx. 5ft so I was looking for a 2 section pole when closed not shorter than say 48inches 4ft. do you guys know if there are any out there like that?. regards mike

I have done this with old worn poles, cut them down and customize length to what i need.
another idea is buy a cheap budget pole and lose a section or some length, or even make your own from a harris decorating pole, simple enough to do.

As weight will not be an issue could you not use a Harris pole and just make it shorter?

No I tried that, either drill a hole in the end of the pole about 3 inches down and screw in the angle adaptor or pack out then use poxy resin. If you use the quick release adaptor you leave in the Harris pole but easily change over the brush heads

Just IN case you are very DIY.

Gardiner have some sections on sale. You could pick up the fourth section of an extreme for £20 and make a mini extreme like me :d
