loncin washer / chinese pump
« on: September 28, 2013, 08:36:48 pm »
5 years ago i bought a loncon washer from jetmac systems. Machine has been great for me but recently the plastic bolt which shows oil level on pump broke. i cannot get one of these anywhere. also tried finding the size of it so i could just plug the hole with bolt but it's a strange size.

looking likely hole will get bunged with rubber stopper for time being. :(

Go to the local machine shop - lathes and the like, ask them to drill and tap the hole for a bsp plug.

plate is cast so drilling it will most likely destroy it lol. best bet is probably tap it out slightly. Not much body for doing it but see how it goes.

What are you measuring the diameter with any chance of a good close up picture

I was an engineer with British aerospace and others for 30 years I might be able to ID it for you
