Not sure i was thinking the same it is about 30g lighter , But i want the soft black brush they only have the standard and mixed at the mo    . Mike

I had a new medium mixed sent not long ago it felt like it had better cleaning power slightly more stiff than my other one..

i bought one of these for first cleans, which is now my every day brush.

tried going back to the extreme on my short pole and didn't like it at all

they use less plastic due to couple groves and no scraper edge.that about it,looks better than previous one.

The standard is really good for scrubbing quite stiff bristles which i find a little to stiff for some work which is why i am alternate between the soft and the standard . Mike
