« on: June 22, 2013, 04:46:53 pm »
Anyone used both pumps? What's the difference? is one better than the other or does it make no odds?

Used both and both good pumps.
Only differnce is you can run the flojet dry, handy in the winter

I have used both, and I found the flojet to be the better pump, because I had less problems with it, and it seemed to last longer than the shurflo.

I think the flowjet is supposed to be better but it draws more current from the battery,
Myself use shurflow cheaper ,not had any problems.

Have used two vyair pumps on two vans for 18 months with 0 problems. Cheaper than the other two too. You should include them in your decision too.
