advice on leisure battery safety please

My 30ah battery died so got a75ah leisure,will my 4amp 3stage charger charge my larger battery safely, got 2kids in the house! I know it will take longer but ran outta cash now. Also need to lengthen the wires but only have some slightly thicker cable, will it be safe to use a short run of it? really need some advice as need to get new battery on Charge asap. thanks.

Get a split charge system from Raw Components, then you won't need to worry about charging it again.

But all my work is within 5 miles, and only got 3-4 days work each week, will that be sufficient to charge?

Yes that would be plenty to keep battery charged mine charges much quicker than 5 miles probably 1 mile or less
