I have 3 medium white superlite sill brushes
Also have 1 black superlite sill brush.
I used the black one today and was impressed how it stuck to the glass.
When i used in the best i thought it wasnt tough enough to clean glass.
Does anyone use the black one and if so would you use it for first cleans?

I dont use the sill brushes due to weight but i do like using the soft extreme a lot but i find it does not quite have the scrubbing power as the standard bristled brush .

I will be using my extreme standard next week as my soft brush is about knackered after 10 weeks suffering a fair amount of bristle loss on top corners on brush ,  Maybe me been a little heavy handed .

But i will but the new Xtreme soft when they finally come in stock . Mike

I agree that the black extreme brush is too soft, so ive trimmed down the bristles fo make them better scrubbers but still retains that soft feel.( i use this brush on old wooden windows )
Ive also turned a white extreme into a dual trim brush by cutting down the centre 2 rows of bristles, which gives the brush slightly better scrubbing power ( i use this brush on upvc windows )

Steve regarding the soft brush have trimmed down all the bristles and how much have you trimmed off the bristles ,  Also what did you use to trim bristles down . Thanks Mike

I've used the brushes mentioned above, but I quite like the extreme medium mixed brush, it's light and got decent scrubbing power. My favourite I reckon. Works very well with the carbon gooseneck.

Steve regarding the soft brush have trimmed down all the bristles and how much have you trimmed off the bristles ,  Also what did you use to trim bristles down . Thanks Mike

I cut about 20mm ish off all the bristles ( the inner 2 rows perhaps slightly more )
I used a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the bristles down, just find something the correct thickness, like a ruler, an use it to cut along.
Its a trial & error thing, find an old brush, give it a trim and see if you like it
