undercutting
« on: May 27, 2013, 04:53:41 pm »
Had two local trad guys take a semi off me,
i charged £9 they are doing it for £6.
The thing thats brassed me off is the custie is a tight git,
told the trad guys i have put prices up every year 50p
and they have gone back in time 6 years, custie rubbing his hands
thinking all wc are idiots, told them we should be keeping prices
at a decent level, they said he hates wfp and they need the work.
sorry guys for long winded rant, but the prices some wc charge
i would jack it in and go employed. ???

Forget him! Get yourself a decent, proper customer.
You'll probably find the 6 quid specials will do a rubbish job or not turn up again anyway.
Focus on getting long term good cusyts.  ;)

As others have already said, Forget them and canvass/leaflet more! there's always going to be custards like this who penny pinch and theres always going to be tradesmen (not just in window cleaning either) That undercharge and undercut!
