No, he sells cf poles. He sells a basic pole with extensions to reach higher levels.

So when he says that other suppliers try to sell you a pole for this level, another pole for the second floor, another pole for the third etc. he is marketing his one pole plus extensions does all.

Its his idea of creating a marketing edge over his competitors. Unfortunately for him, most of us only have a normal day to day pole and a second for those high level windows. I have an SLX40 which gets used half a dozen times a month, so I would expect that to last for many years.

My day to day SLX22 gets much more use, so I don't expect it to last as long.

He is only doing what Black and Decker did to the power tool market about 40 years ago. They had one drilling machine that was also a power source for numerous attachments, ie circular saw, jigsaw and sander. It was a good story and caught the public's imagination, even if the attacments didn't work well in practice.

Disguarded base poles on the floor are a trip hazard as can be seen on this video.

I wouldn't want to work with it too much as I have a bit of arthritis in my hands. I find the base diameter a bit big to hold for too long before my fingers start to hurt and cramp sets in. That is why I do the high stuff with it and then get back to my SLX22 as soon as possible. We do a long run with it once a year with an annual contract but my son and I take it in turns, swopping over every few windows.

Flex is not bad, but then the only thing I had to compare it with was a 5 sectioned Under Teleplus pole at 33' and that was a shocker flex wise, even with a superlite brush on the end.

One of the local lads looked at this pole of mine about a year ago and immediately ordered one for himself.
