Fan Jets
« on: April 28, 2013, 09:36:46 pm »
I have to admit I have never used fan jets before, always used pencil. So, out of curiosity, I have ordered some just to see how they compare.

I'll probably do the comparison on my own windows and then report back here in a few days.

I've heard that they work better on hydrophobic glass than pencil jets.

I have just ordered both sets from gardiners and a set of 1.4 mm pencil jets in an effort to save water. Either that or I have to buy a bigger van.

i fans give a better, quicker clean on windows and save water - but thats just my opinion

you also have to buy decent fan jets - their are some ropey brass things about that are useless
gardiners are pretty good but the Lumark blue are still unbeaten in performance.

I've just switched to fan jets after 2 years with pencil. Can't believe I hadn't switched earlier they are so much faster and with better results!
I brought the Gardiners wide fan jets and they are perfect for me.

They are the exact ones I ordered yesterday.
