I don't see how people have so many problems?

I have a digital one it calibrated itself in a minute or so it runs the pump great and switches off and starts pumping water within 1-2 seconds of turning my tap on ive not had any problems.

I think the best solution is using the pressure switch with a motor speed controller. It's instant, where as a controller is always delayed.

There is a good range of controls available on the market currently. Which is best is very much an individual choice.

Both are very good at managing a system and providing the user with information on how the system is working. The recent units are doing more than just controlling the speed of a pump.

There are monitoring battery state and providing battery voltage information . providing flexibility in water volume delivered to the brush. monitoring system pressure and more.

It comes down to personal preference.
