Mobile card machines
« on: April 19, 2013, 06:16:12 pm »
I'm looking at getting a card machine later this year but I'm not 100% sure weather its i good idea or not.

I don't want to be out collecting every night as i still want people to use my other payment options but what i was going to use it for is if the customer has not paid within 14 days via bacs i will put the dept on a list for door step collection maybe adding a £2 surcharge as well to stop them paying late.

As business grows i don't want things getting out of control

Thanks Paul

I can take card payments over the phone but I have no mobile machine.

Great if you have their phone numbers.

Is this what you use http://www.sagepay.com/online-payments seems reasonable for £25 per month then if i get every customer landline phone number they could pay me over the phone or go to my site to pay  :D :D

Sage seems to be a trusted online payment brand

Matt do you find it takes a lot longer to process the card payment at the door compared to collecting cash or cheque  ???
