« on: April 21, 2013, 07:23:19 pm »
Im looking for the best way to clean glass connie roofs inside. Cos of my knackered shoulders, cant have my arms above head height for great lengths of time, so am looking at the unger indoor kit.

Anyone used one?

Ive done a couple of internal conny roofs, But i just do it using trad methods. The only way to keep your arms low i can think of is to get as high up as possible on step ladders or use a trad pole?!

Have done as Gb.

But i think i might try one of those floor awivel mops that has micro fibre pad,

Not the dear internal window cleaning kits you see but as said.

Spray on strong mix of pure water and gg3 scrub away; if mop micro fibre not too wet should dry quick.

If plastic beams need doing then thats a ladder job.

Mick,
I was getting a lot of trouble with my left shoulder when I first
started nearly called it a day.
Started taking Super strength omega 3. 1000 mg one table a day.
Don't have any problem with it now Touch wood.
Healthspan sell them.
Maybe worth a try.

i was in the same boat at xmas was looking at selling up, saw a surgeon. Got a torn rotator cuff in my left and impingement in my right.

Theyre a lot better due to physio, but when working above shoulder height, the lactic acid seems to take hold a lot quicker now cos they are weaker.

Tried everything, but nothing really touches it now.

Going to get one of those indoor kits, i do enough to make it pay for itself.

Sureclean in Omagh N. Ireland sell a manual indoor kit for £25
and the mops are £2.50 each.
If its a first clean you will need a lot of mops.
It every bit as good as the Vikan easy shine and a lot cheaper.

I always over price them so not too get them, but if they say yes, and these indoor cleaners work well, its another add on!
