LPG ?
« on: April 18, 2013, 07:31:55 am »
Hi Guys

It's been a while!

Just wondered how many of you have converted to LPG and has it made a big difference?

Also can a Blazer T/M be converted to LPG?

One more, rough idea of costs to convert?

These fuel prices are getting silly!!

Cheers

Justin

How difficult would it be to swap a B&S engine to a Kohler in a TM?

You should be able to get your engine converted to LPG and a tank and external filler fitted to your van, for well under £1k.  Just work out how long it would take to make up that outlay, then after that you're in profit ;)

Performance is virtually unaffected, you lose approx 2% horsepower off your engine which is nothing.  Just need an engine which is suitable for LPG.  Oh and check how many petrol stations in your area serve LPG cos if there's none don't bother!

Hi Guys

I run on LPG and apart frm a big cost saving, the mos timportant part is the lack of exhaust smell, especially when parked on tight drives near houses.

Cheers
