dont over explain system to customers unless theyre anoraks and want to see in back of van and start saying things like so its deionised / devils water ..... I had one of these and turns out his day job was making "devils water" for a local power station and he know more about than me ... he went on about catons etc etc.

Search through here for all you need to know.
Also be prepared for it to be slower than trad at first .
It can be very frustrating but as I've found after being WFP for a few months it does get easier.

Thanks

I've spent hours trawling through the threads, and was hoping to get a condensed list of tips which may also be useful for others.

Might be worth a stickie at some point too, as more and more trads move to WFP

Hi JW1
You a proper JW by the way? ;D
Watch out for RSI related injuries - alternate right hand and left handed technique - it takes longer at first but if you can change hands at will it will help spread the load and wear and tear on your body.
You could be at it for years look after yourself!!
Get the lightest pole you can afford.

Rent a unit.

Big up your earnings and tell everyone on here.

Pretend you are now a businessman.
