Another 37 new canvassed customers thismorning
« on: March 24, 2013, 02:45:18 pm »
4 of us out for 2 hours, gained £435 of new monthly work. Cost me £130. 26 i paid out for as i was lucky and got 11 myself. Bloody cold though!.

Also went out thursday night on my own local and got 9 for £90

From hes list of old customers i have managed to pick up 113 of them so far, just 2 more long roads to hit, prob another canvass session for 3 of us. Hopefully finish with 150 of hes old customers.
Eye of the tiger!.

Cheers john. Nice to be appreatiated.
Its not rocket science hiw i do it, if anything its common sence and determination.
I had enough of being skint and in debt worrying how i can afford the bills etc, the way forward was to simply double in size and now i have near trebled in 2 years. Funny how quick things can happen when your fully focussed.

I agree Mick.

In August I will be two years into building up my new run in Ireland. I have 366 customers currently,  and aim to have 420 by then. I don't have the time, or if I am honest, the inclination to go out in the evenings at the moment, but am picking up new customers most weeks by word of mouth recommendations, and when the weather improves here (a serious consideration here given the culture towards window cleaning) I may have a bit of a push in some nearby villages in order to ensure that I achieve my target. When I do, I will be looking to increase to 500 customers by August 2014, and keep refining the run until it becomes the business I want it to be.

Regards,
John

Well done mate, always good to see positive stories from hard work, also wanted to thank you for the advice you gave me over the phone a month of so ago, really helped me and was some really good tips with a little common sense and out of the box thinking.

I pay canvassers little and often. As i only pay £5 per customer i tend to give it to them end of the session,
Paying them end of a session helps get them out trying there best, especially on a sunday. Michelle does it and see's it as her fAg and bingo money.
My newest recruit steve is a drinker and see's it as beer money and dave my employee i top it up on his weekly money as he is taking advantage of unlimited canvassing to help pay he's holiday off and to save spending money, i have them ringing me asking to work as i dont like them doing it without me.
So defo pay little and often and pay after the session to keep them coming back for more.

Yep a simple fiver. Someone doing it as an add on/extra money to there normal job. I found it near impossible finding full time canvassers as does everyone else so i approached it different and have had much better responce and stay rates doing the canvassing.
Richy you should try it, i live london bound and can find people to do it for £5 a hit so im sure you can do it being up there.
I dont pay £5 just because im tight, i just dont expect any replacement customers if they do drop out where id have to pay 1/2 cleans value for.
All i lose is a £5 from a dropout and all the time my dropout rate is under 30% im on a win win situation.
