I plan on using the 20% interest free loan on new properties next year. This was previously only available to first time buyers but is now available to everybody. Im not usually a fan of new properties but there is a sought after development nearby and £32k interest free will be a sweetener that i couldn't refuse. We will see.
Also my first budget as a non smoker and the first budget that cigarettes DO NOT rise in price. I was hoping for an extra £2.50 on 20 cigs tbh.

The tax band for employees rising to £10k can only be a good thing for us. And I run a LTD company so the reduction in corporation tax from 21% to 20% can only help, even though I will be making purchases for the business at year end rather than leaving a profit to be taxed.
As a hardworking member of society its also good to see the welfare benefits reducing. The amount of benefits being given out under labour was crazy imo and unsustainable. Lets hope we can get really tough on those who come to this country for a free ride like the Australians do.
Lastly the price of a pint of beer has dropped by 1p. If I were to stick to last years beers consumed figures that will mean I will be better off by £4875.45 this year.
