Hi guys,
I know a few on here do gutter clearance and many have the wireless camera's I know a few have the same one as me. So I just thought I'd post this as a warning in case the same happens to someone else.
I put the bullet camera on charge last night about 12am, I was getting up at 5:30am for an early start. The instructions say to only charge for an hour, but I thought an extra 4 and a half hours shouldn't hurt, what the worst that can happen, slightly damage the battery on the camera, besides I didn't have a 1 hour slot to charge it because I was going to bed.
5:30 this morning I come downstairs to the kitchen where I had left it charging, to notice that the supabrite LED's are switched on on the cam, so I unplug the camera and try to turn it off, it wouldn't switch off. Then all of a sudden, BANG, the charger explodes sounding just like a balloon bursting but several times loader. There was no horrible smells like you'd expect, just the charger in pieces and hanging out of the socket. If someone had been close to it, I imagine it would have cause an injury or possibly even a fire if near some combustable materials.
Looking at the camera again there are no British standard kite symbols and it say's it's made in China. So if you have one I'd recommend you change to another charger ASAP.

Simon.
