ports on van do they rust van body?
« on: March 08, 2013, 09:58:52 pm »
just wondered if the ports when mounted on van rear panel rust the van panel as my ports always leak after a fashion (fittings dont last 5 minsutes)

currently have ports on putside of van on underside - which makes bending and reaching more hassle than on van panel i would have thought.

also having them on underside the times ive reversed in tight space in customers yard/drive and had an earth mound shoved in the ports is not un common.

concept

Why not bolt reels to floor of van, saves you humping them in and out, and untying into van?

would be great idea if it wasnt for the fact i was humping a gutter vac in and out of it at times - wouldnt have the room if they were bolted down to get other stuff in inc folding ladders
