Hi,

Looking to buy some clear pole hose, as i dont get on with the yellow stuff from gardiners,

can anyone tell me the size i need.... on the gardiners website there are 2 sizes for the yellow stuff , but i dont know which they sent...

1. 8mm outer diameter

2.  7.8 mm outer diameter

Look on e bay either a 7.8 id or 6 mm id. The 7/8 mm does not always fit the John Guest fittings.This will depend on the o.D. Some  make a tube with a thicker wall and they last longer but as before don`t fit,fittings.

gazza i would advise you to try the aqua-daptor pole hose(orange or red).its excellent stuff and very tough and easy to manage!

ive been using mine for over a year on my SLX and its still going strong!!

best pole hose out there by a mile IMO.
