I have a 600l custom built upright tank in my van but do not like the idea of lay flat tanks because the pump is more likely to suck air when water level is low.

If you compare the size of a Whydale 650l lay flat tank with the Grippamax 650l tank the actual footprint of the Grippamax is bigger. All the pictures I have seen of the Grippamax the tank seems to take up most of the load area and the hose reel(s) is always shown sitting on top of the tank, presumably because there is nowhere else to fit it in the van.

Some folk dont like banter or sound advice i would prefer to keep my weight well under payload for safety reasons .

I have a 400 ltr flat tank fully loaded i am carrying 550-600 kg my payload is about 1260 kg and my  L200 truck sits a lot lower would love to see a van with approx 1200 kg in the back .

Would not like to see it after a crash  :P :P . Mike
