all ready last night.van full to brim with pure.worksheets ready etc.

had the roughest night last night for a long time.high temperature,cold chills,severe sore throat,head full of catarrh,headache,eyes sensitive to light,etc.

any of you guys been ill?some nasty bugs going about!

cant see me going back to work until monday now!

i have had a cold two months ago , saw doctor said do sports cough it up , went to see another doctor gave me antibiotics , still got it chills ,sore throat gone but got loads of phlem in throut , went to doctors monday he told me i have got post nasal drip never heard of it , gave me streriod nasal spray 3 months to clear up .  were do these odd bugs come from .

Glad I'm not the only one though Doc didn't say anything about post nasal drip. Symptoms match plus I keep going deaf in one ear. Asthma type wheezing at each end of the day but the inhaler is clearing it up slowly. Two months now - wearing a bit thin.

I've been ill for a couple of weeks with tonsilites and have now been told that its Glandular Fever could take 6 months to get over it.

hi stu i feel for ya mate.you know what doctors are like!they always give you worst case scenario.

i reckon ive defo got the flu.got heating off now and just boxer shorts on and im still dripping with sweat!

gona try and eat a piece of toast and drink a brew methinks.

the only thing positive is its chucking it down outside really heavy now so i probably would of finished early!!

Hi  dazmond, every symtom you've mentioned i've had, its taken me 2 weeks to shake off with the help of lemsip, paracetomol, cough mixture, now my wife has caught it from me happy days ,  hope you recover soon.

Yes and the bad news is i doubt you will be back monday, I had the exact same sympyoms you describe night sweats, skin boiling hot sweating but feel cold & shivering full on old school flu! was ill for 7 days it went for 3 then came back with a vengance!!   2 weeks off mate then the festive week and raining today!! i have had a rubbish month!!!

Had since Boxing Day felt better yesterday was going to work today but feel rough again .now son and wife have it.

Id reccomend it myself especially with working outside ya know .

ive been bad all over xmas started feeling really bad full of a cold then i started getting strange feelings in my chest couldnt get of the toilet lol left it a week and i thought i was haveing a heart attack so went to a walk in doctors my blood pressure was sky high so had to go to a&e my hearts ok thank god but ive got inflamation on my chest and a virul infection still feel bad now also my dad died just before xmas so ive been running around sorting things out for the funeral hopefully next  xmas will be better
