Food Colouring on Carpet
« on: February 03, 2006, 12:59:51 pm »
I need to clean a carpet with food colouring on it.  Is there anyway to shift it?  I haven't tried anything yet.

Trying really hard to clean all of East London!

does that mean that you can't get it out?  People must run into this.

Berhard,

Food colourings are very difficult to remove especially curry  , which is pretty impossible .

A lot depends on the fibre type , PP good chance , wool little chance.

Some like red wine can be removed , I have had some success with this.

Try to be a bit more specific and you may find someone has a suggestion.

Cheers

Doug

Thanks.  this is actually Food Colour - the sort you buy to add colour to your baking etc.  I guess it probably won't come out, but you never know.
