converted pole

i recently purchased a slx pole to replace my dire 32 foot ionics grafter .and didnt want to throw it or try to sell it cause i wouldn't want to burden anyone with it. so turned it into a 14 foot pole . and its been quite good . i had to cut the top part of the old pole off because it split which made the brush really wobbly. i put the top clamp of a slx on it and glued it in . i needed to adjust the pole slightly for it to fit but now i can fit the gardiner goosneck or resi neck to the old pole . works brill .... well happy

+ 1....... im all for recycling parts of old poles, switching over to pole system can be expensive, so i always keep bits and bobs, never know when they come in handy,
my first ever pole from pure freedom, which got made redundant after i bought extreme, so i cut it right down to a three foot pole for some awkward bottoms.

that pain is it for the heaviness of the pure freedom pole
or
the cost of extremes
