Possibly too soon to ask
« on: October 31, 2012, 01:41:25 pm »
In late 2013 I intend to leave the industry, and the country!

I could sell off my kit, second hand, ideally as a job lot or failing which one bit at a time, which would involve more effort for me in terms of delivery or collection of items and payments.

From my position I would rather sell the whole package to someone either starting up or an established cleaner looking to expand in my geographical area which is South Warwickshire (Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth, Stratford on Avon, Balsall Common and surrounding villages. I never set out to make a lot of money, but have made a decent living by minimising expenses, for example in 5 years 11 months my van has travelled 48000 miles only, 8,000 per year.

I started in October 2006 and have built up my business from scratch, no knowledge or equipment. Since then I have aimed for a middle to higher grade customer, very few end of tenancy jobs for example, with a lot of repeat and referral work. This calendar year (ie 10 months 01 January to 31 October I have secured 89.7% of the jobs I have quoted for (thanks to the high repeat and referral rate) and the average charge has been £99.99.

Would anyone be interested in talking to me about buying the whole package?

This would obviously include client details, and I would assist the purchaser as well as I could, by for example introducing them by letter or in some instances in person to repeat customers.
Doing the best job in the world as well as I can

Dont think its too soon to advertise your buisiness for sale.

Givs a potential buyer the chance to get some money together or have a plan set up ..
