Hi Lee just installed one from Reach2 Clean its quite a think to get rite as the water only builds up heat after a time. I find it is taking a lot of change to my system.

Put my immersion on for 1st time last night - making sure everything works ok.
Will probably use it regular when the forecast dips toward the freezing  :)

I've got a gas heater im in the middle of installing, it does take roughly 4 minutes for the hot water to come through, but once the hose has hot water in it, it will retain the the heat.

ive been using mine for a week now and its  all good. like lee said it takes about 5 mins to get to temp but once its there its hot all the time as the heat is retained within the hose on the reel. im impressed i got hot water for such a cheap set up cost . im wondering how long the lpg will last though

I do like the hot system but the problem I am having is when I close the pole valve the pump still pumps on for some time as the pipes expands till the pressure build up to max before the pump flow switches off, at this point the gas heater is still working and the water reaches a very temp. The pipes have burst at this point. If you are not at the heater you will not see this happen.

Do you have a pump controller?

I bought this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140726329598?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

There are cheaper ones on eBay in the uk, but they have 20 min cutoff, this one doesn't, it also has a low flow rate for it to work 0.75lpm. It's also a 5L,
The ones on eBay are 8L which might be too hot for the winter, plus Nat had one had it caught fire after 9momths. This one also has a 5 year warrenty, not that it will be worth sending back, but it must be a pretty good product to give it a 5 year warrenty.

Dos it effect your insurance when fitting these and carrying gas ?
Allso do you need to display stickers on your van  that say you have gas ?

About 16 years ago i was working with a roofer who had gas and he ended up in a smash and the van was wrote off , the insurance wouldnt pay as he had not informed them that he would have gas on board , that was the sole reason they wouldnt pay out .
where theres muck theres money

Yes, 20% vat and a handling fee, think it came to £32 altogether.  Not the cheese way to do it but, if it works well it will be worth it.

I nearly had a fit yesterday because I read on their website they run on natural gas not, LPG, but turnes out there are 2 different versions and you have to order the correct one for it to run on propane, and luckily I had, otherwise that would have been a big waste of money.
