The Hare and the Tortoise
« on: October 18, 2012, 01:05:21 pm »
I had my best ever solo earnings day yesterday! which is great, but today i just cant summon the energy or enthusiasm to get out there.

If I had just done a hard working normal day i could of done the same today and be on top of what i have currently earned this week. Now yesterdays epic day is now cut in half by me slacking today.

The Hare and Tortoise comes to mind! Best ever earnings day = vanity. slow hard slog all week = sanity....Lesson learned.

To quote the apostle Paul.... "The spirit is eager, but the flesh is weak!"

that pretty much sums it up.  ;D

As you get older you will find this is normal - you have to pace yourself.

Just had my best day ever on residential, thankfully I've got the day off tomorrow. I know the feeling though. Pacing is required if you do a lot of work each week.

Tortoise day today! absolute disaster... £70 I just couldnt get going and was glad when it rained! I did one more in the rain and then leafleted a whole estate so didnt feel too bad at the end. Better have a hare day on Monday.

You might have a bad hare day, though.

NO! water made, cloths washed, blades changed envelopes done, worklist done batteries charged. Will be flying out of the door motivated to hit my target. Well thats the plan! and I do have a rather nice glass of wine to chill me at the moment.
Come rain shine ice snow I will hit £100 on Monday ha ha.
