Floor scrubbers
« on: February 04, 2006, 01:51:40 pm »
After buying a new Extracta scrubber with an Excel machine, i used it twice only. It did a marvelous job, but my work was strictly domestic. After buying a new truck mount in Aug 05, i cannot justify spending £2600 + vat on their powered scrubber until my commercial work increases.

Do you think it would be possible to convert an extracta scrubber to work fom the tm. The model is the mid range one, so no pressure gauge on the casing to worry about, and could i change the plastic tubing for metal, as well as swapping the brass jets for steel ones.

Any thoughts on this or anybody done this successfully

i use 2 scrubbas with my tm

if you have the upgraded vale on your scrubba there will handle 500 psi

the old valves can handle up to 300 psi

How do i know if it has an upgraded valve. Its 3 and half years old scrubber deluxe. Do you get a better result using this with the tm? I just bought a Prochem blazer xl. What do you think of them? Interesting to go back through these pages to 2003 with all the differences of opinion on what is best out of portable and tm machines.
