Gas water heater gas pipe
« on: October 18, 2012, 12:17:30 pm »
Ive just got a gas heater to set up hot water in my van, but what pipe or connect do you use to attach the gas pipe to the heater?

Is the a 1/2 to barb you buy, or is there a gas pipe with a 1/2 female thread that is suitable?

Lee have you got a gas BBQ? If so go and rob the gas pipe off that to see if it fits.

Do you mean the tail or the thread is 1/4?

It's a called marey from America.

Ive got a regulator like the one in the link, it's the actual heater connection I need.

It's just a standard 1/2bsp male thread. I just need something to screw onto it to connect the gas pipe.

The regulator will be red as they run on propane.

Roy

Its not the regulator I need, I have no way of connecting the hose to the actual heater because it came without a hose tail.

I have sorted it now, I managed to get a female 1/2bsp to 1/4 hose tail to screw onto the heater
