nice of my old customer to let me know she was moving house...and what a numpty of a new tenant for having me clean twice for free.

by the way , the house always had closed blinds, and still has..... so impossible to know if moved out etc....

and she used to pay online.

yeah, I had similar earlier in the year, they owed me 3 months and moved.
Got a stroppy text from the new owners saying they never requested my services and don't want me cleaning their windows and therefore would not be paying the bill ! no $£it sherlock ! what planet do these feckin idiots come from ?  :

A few years back while I was doing quite a large detached place in the country that I'd been doing for about a year, there was what I assumed was the husband watching me from inside the house.

When finished, I thought rather than leave the usual SAE, I'd knock as you never know, he might pay on the spot.

As soon as he opened the door and before I could say anything he asked me why I had cleaned his windows. I explained that previously I dealt with his wife, etc, etc and it was her who asked me in the first place and she normally sends a cheque and he said he had just started renting the place two weeks before and slammed the door shut on me.

I was so gob smacked I simply turned and walked away.

Hi Gazza, if you have the previous owner mobile number, just simply text one in the morning  at 6.00 A.M. as reminder that she has to pay you, and one in the evening at 12.00 p.m. 
Repeat this until she pays, best way of getting your money back.

Dont feel too bad as there is nowt you can do about it.

Not as if there still living there and refusing to pay which would be worse.

Previous customer may have thought the new tenants would have kept you on so thinking they doing u a favour.

Happened to me for £14 about 2 months ago and only found out by seeing the house on rightmove up for rent

This goes on all the time and the point that the original custy's who moves hasn't got the decency/time  to call you up and say I'm moving really takes the p considering how long it takes to moves these days!

best to try not to get bitter over these things,but its not easy as they keep re-occuring from time to time.

last week though i bit back with a posh bird who got angry cos we put a ladder over her gate,she never would unlock it though all the last year ,i cant find the key,yeah right and this time thought she would give me the verbals but oh no i gave her what for you grumpy bitch and then she wouldnt pay then changed her mind and wanted to pay, on yer bike ,i will call the police for climbing my gate, Fook you you ugly bint

sounds like your still bitter robertphil!!

yes its happened to me a few times but not for years as i can usually tell if they ve moved.different car on drive.usual junk not in the garden etc.it is annoying though.most customers tell me and the sign in the front garden saying "sold" usually gives it away!

the thing is we are not that important in the lives of most customers like we think we are!just keep your eyes peeled in future!

i'd give it a few weeks then apply some wax furniture polish on them

When I was talking to  the old lady relatives about we're my money he give me a spade and directions to the graveyard and said she lives there now.

What one needs for nonpaying customers This Kit should be kept handy at all times.
(1)A can of clear spray paint. To restore the dirty window look.
 
(2)Some tooth picks and super glue to make sure that front door lock will never open.
This will would well on car door locks.

(3)Some weed killer to sort out the plants in front of of the property E.G. hanging baskets and favorite pot plants.
(4)An hose tail to stick into the door letter box and water the carpets.Making sure the hose tail stream will spray well into the front hall.
 A Bucket of stinky dirty water to return the dirt to the windows or to be sprayed on with a kids water gun ( the pump type.
