just a bit bored browsing the site came accross this chap, from what i gather he canvasses cleans it 4 times then sells it, has anyone had any expirience with his rounds before as far as canvassers go he is alot more expensive however its somewhat established well its not going to be a nightmare on clean one and two at least.

i think it was 3-4 cleans asking price but already cleaned so its not going to be such hard work as fresh stuff

i actually dont think i can clean another first clean again ive done way too lol!

He trades under the name PDS, been around for umpteen years, uses teams of canvassers all over the country to generate 'full' rounds then sells them on.  Guarantees if you lose a job within a certain time of buying the round he'll replace it like-for-like.

I've never met him but I know several people who have bought rounds from him - generally seems good at what he does and ethical in his dealings.

It is also all trad work, and glass at that no frames. Underpriced as well. I looked at some work 4 or 5 years ago in Basildon, the guy who maintained the work showed me round. I prefer to have newly canvassed work and mould the customer.

This guy is the don when it comes to window cleaning/canvassing. He gets hes team of canvassers to build work all over the place, he advertises work in all areas also. Then while waiting to sell the work for 4 cleans he has window cleaners maintaining the work. He has a massive gated house in chigwell. Defo made over 5 million over the past 20 years from just selling rounds. He is minted. I worked for him about 12 years ago as a canvasser, he payed me 60 percent of what i got. All up untill i canvassed a rough area when he refused to pay me which is where i started my window cleaning round from in crappy slade green. I hated him for stitching me up but it tought me a lesson. Stay away from slummy areas as you never get your money and custies never last more than 3/4 cleans.
Not seen or heard about pds for ages now.

i brought a load of work off pat about 10 years ago about 2k's worth @ 4x and would use him again if i needed too.. Out of that if i remember there was about £200 worth of dud work (cancellations etc.) but to his word he did replace the lot, looking back now some was probably slightly under priced but not stupidly under priced but over the years its been brought up to date. Paying 4x is nothing really for maintained work i would certainly rather use someone like him then pay these fly by nights canvassers that are popping up from time to time.

so he actually did what pretty much no canvasser dares to do replace or refund so im yet to hear something bad about him , i agree 4 cleans for something which is maintained becomes some what of a round that you are buying i wonder if he would offer the same guarantee for wfp people.

and your 10 year story shows that he aint fly by night

i know there will be problems but im sure it will be alot less then first clean mayhem as fully loaded for one van and a half i seem to have hit a brick wall in canvassing basically im being very picky too picky that i just dont want to clean them, cos i know 50% of the time its drama!.

maybe Pat is the answer to my prays he aint cheap but some what of a round in any area i wont jump in fully maybe go for a days work first see how that goes and take it from there thats if he gets back in touch lol!
