PPM= particles per million
Particles= minerals and other impurities eg certain metals. Most notable mineral for the customer
                 being calcium..the white stuff left on their car or house windows after spraying with a hosepipe
                 using plain tap water and letting it dry. Particularly in hard water areas.  ???
generally when the reading gets to 015 on the TDS meter its worthwhile changing the resin. :)

I will tell you what I say tomorrow Cliff. Well, I'll type it. "You know when you splash tap water onto the windows you get white marks when it dries? Well, that's the minerals in the water. The water I use to clean the windows has all the minerals removed, so when it dries, they dry perfectly clear."
