Hydrophilic and hydrophobic glass
« on: August 10, 2012, 03:23:13 pm »
Just wondering what techniques yous use for each and any tips or tricks? I seem to spend an eternity rinsing the hydrophobic and a tank of water would last me no time if I'd a big run of houses with this type of glass. I'm wondering if I'm over doing it on the rinsing but I suppose it's better rinsed off well and no complaints from the customers. Do yous spend a lot longer rinsing hydrophic?

Hi David
I'm thinking the same.
What I've found so far:
And open to advice and contradictions of course ;D
Wide windows and patios better to rinse in narrow sections to get a "waterfall effect" rather than rinse right across from side to side with just a trickle running down.
Best thing I've found is go back later in the day or when collecting and have a good look although be warned this can be rather depressing on first cleans!!!!

most of my poles have a set of fan and pencil jets so \I can select the jets I prefer on different glass.I just change the pole hose at the top.
