Dont waste your money, go straight for a van mount.
The trolley is good, and can be used to make a van mount, but the pole aint all that and the ro again is ok but not great either.

So a van mount is a better option?

I was planning to start up WFP in the new year and buy a van in the new year at the same time, so I'm looking for as much help as possible.

I've always had a car, roof rack and ladders.

Buy a van and get as bigger tank it will take a pump plus a controller and a hose and reel and get clx pole to start. All from gardiners a trolley is ok but you will end up wanting a van mount in the end so get it now and it will save you some money mate

Thanks for the advice mate, money is not really an issue so would sooner get it all form the start rather than having to spend more to upgrade later.

its evry important to ask yourself how easy you could run a van mount.  i have a trolley system and its suits me a lot better because a lot of my work, its hard to park outside.  its really important to think about whether you would rather reel out and in 100 metres across non customers drives etc or whether you'd rather lug a trolley about. 
personally i prefer the trolley system, just because i have a lot of properties that would be a massive hassle if i needed to used a hose reel from the van

ps i have the 50 litre pure freedom trolley, which will last me 2-3 3bed semis before i have to get more barrels.  and as the other chap says, if you then decide that a van mount is best, you can use all the parts from the trolley and wont have to buy anything new except a big tank to stick in the van

Pump controller
85-110amh lesiure battery
450gpd or 40" ro
Booster pump for the ro
11 ltr di vessel
1000ltr ibc holding tank
Tds meter
Transfer pump
Transfer hose
100m thermobore
Metal hose reel
18ft slx + a longer slx for your highest work
Plus various spare connectors etc
Thats about all i can thonk of at the moment, hope it helps
Heater for your van for the winter
Heater for your ro/holding tank

I have a Pure Freedom trolley and it's very good, but after a while I just got fed up lugging it in and out the van. The weight of it becomes a pain! I now use it as part of a van mount system and it hardly ever comes out now.  ;)Personally, I would go straight for the van system, but that's just my opinion, and perhaps get a backpack for really awkward access. As for their poles, don't buy them as the Gardiners CLX is better by miles. Good luck.

Can't go wrong with that trolley, bit dear for what it is but tough as old boots.

I have had a freedom trolley for 6 yrs.

Converted over as van mount in march.

Can't belive i was so silly for so long 

Still use barrels; because my ro setup is at my parents place and no off street parking so load barrels on, leave trolley on board.

I have 100 metre hose and caliber reel from Gardiners with connection kit comes to about £100.

Pulling trolley around was killind my back and knees.

I think Adepta (pure freedom) trolley setup is ok-that's what i did I upgraded ro to 200 gpd system produces about 25 ltr an hour slow i know but i have 600 litre static tank in parents garage use about 150 ltrs a day 6 barrels. (so always have 3-4 days water ready)

I use fan jets and aqua-dapter on pole to save water.

As for a pole i'd start with a 22 or 27 ft clx (gardiner pole systems) and fit an aqua dapter.

I wouldn't go straight for slx (gardiners) as costly if you brake; practice with cheaper clx's.

Forgot to say adepta fit van mount systems and very helpful as is and does gardiner pole systems.

The only difference between a van mount and a trolley  is the hose. Most people with trolleys very quickly start using them like a van mount ie leaving them in or at the vehicle and running out a hose to do the work.

You have to walk before you can run so some of this comes as part of the learning curve which is quite steep in the early stages. Whatever you start with you are going to outgrow it.  Thats how it is. WFP is better than trad but at the end of the first week you will wish you had never started.

Pure Freedom is good, they will support you, we will support you so give it a go. Try and get out with someone for a day before you start.   where are you? I will always take you out with me. There are others who will happily take you out as well.

true its a pain in the butt dragging hose all over the place, snagging on rose bushes and car tyres!!!

yep the microbore drove me mad aswell have been much happier with backpack
if you have any large comercial work a large tank and microbore would be best
so van mount and backpack is prob your best route

honestly paul coleman i think some of your advice IS BAD ADVICE!when i first was thinking of going WFP everyone was saying "get the biggest tank and van you can afford blah blah."

its just not needed if your a one man band!a smallish van and a 350-400L TANK is quite sufficient.no need for a vivaro or anything similar!

the pure freedom trolley is a great bit of kit although mine is used as a van mount these days.there are a few acceptions 
but most people prefer a van mount.yes the hose can be a pain but it gets easier with experience and its a damn sight less weary than lugging trolleys and water barrels about plus time wasted going back to the van to fill up.

if hes been window cleaning for 20 years i bet he s got some very compact work which is a breeze with a van mount.sometimes i only have to move the van once ALL day.on commercial or large domestics its far easier to reel out hose than getting the trolley out etc.

also most of us experienced trad cleaners will use trad on some work every day(mainly ground floor work)as its easier in tight spaces and safer on cold freezing days in winter.
