Cleaning a Sebo Duo

As promised previously.... to all those who whine about a Duo being a pain to clean... this is why I simply do not get what you're on about.

Allowing for the fact I was filming with one hand, it normally is even quicker than this.  Yes I missed a bit but I was looking through the phone screen and not at what I was actually doing.  Sorry for the amateur camera work!

Yes, I know alot of carpet cleaners run a Sebo Duo - but I do advise upgrading to a more serious CRB for agitation. The difference is marked. The Sebo brushes are just to short.  You need to get to the bottom of the pile to get the dirt loosened .
Bloody hell, Jim - is that your drive you cleaned that on?   If it's a client's, you have a power washing job available for the taking.

Frans, not my drive, actually only a little bit of blockwork at the front of a terraced house but you're welcome to come up and do it on a sub contract, I don't do PW... 4m² @ £3/m² an OK price for you? :D

Steve, if you keep it cleaned out it doesn't get smelly ;)

Despite the "how to" cleaning a duo demo, it's still going up for sale.
A proper crb is all i need.  ;D

Each to his own mate :)

When a carpet needs heavy duty agitation I give it the beans with a rotary, I've never said a duo is the ultimate agitation tool bit it is the best option for me for a lot of work :)

What you have to think of is space in your van, the weight and size of the machine lugging it in and out of the van, then the weight lugging it round a job up and down stairs, and your the weight affecting your back.  For me, I've got a pretty lousy back due to a car crash and former work in the building trade so if I don't have to use a heavy awkward machine all the better :)

What do people use on stairs? The duo is ideal.  just clean the duo on the next dearies carpet.

Ive used the Duo and Host on stairs but find the Oreck to be the best as you can stand upright as you work your way down and the Oreck goes over the nose of the stairs with ease.
