Bacs
« on: July 27, 2012, 07:32:49 pm »
since introducing bacs paying for my customers, several of my customers who were previously poor payers and i nearly dropped them have become excellent payers.

just checked my bank account and one of them has paid me for cleaning her windows yesterday, it used to be several months before getting paid,

have the rest of you found this to be the case.

Yes - several of my customers are paying within a couple of days when previously it was several weeks - even months :)

Yeah same here.
I spoke to an always late payer ages ago about BACS and the guy was like "yeah thats much easier for us!"
I thought yeah yeah yeah!

Low and behold he paid about an hour after we cleaned!!! Everytime we clean now and leave him a card he pays that night!!! LOVE IT!
Quite a few others love it as well. Its quicker and easier than posting is how we try and sell it.

Oooooo that is shiny!!

Find some who used to pay on the nose now take ages and often need a reminder "BACS not recieved yet."
Definitely more convenient though.
Had new customer this week who didn't do online banking but agreed to get herself sorted out then phoned me up and said I can't be bothered doing this every time why don't I set up a standing order!!!
Many of the houses I picked up from the bloke who gave up window cleaning and used to collect everything I just left a BACS leaflet after cleaning and they have paid by bacs without any prompting often same day and one within the hour!
It can be an easy cop out for the messers though.

i don't care how i get paid, as long as i do, if the customer wants to pay cash, cheque or bac's it's fine by me
