Anyone jetwashing fascias at height New
« on: July 30, 2012, 09:13:33 pm »
hi peeps
just wondering if it would be any quicker/easier to jetwash fascias/gutterings .
i ask as new van is going to be set up as a complete cleaning outfit and will carry a jetwash anyway.

is it markedly easier to jetwash them with an telescopic lance..

im trying to free up some time and looking to speed things up ,so am replacing clarke 30 guttervac with a 3000w 3 stage hoover and thought about getting a reeled long jetwash hose to do fascia/gutters with..

the brackets i find are the most annoying lol

or am i posting on the wrong forum,

Yes I use a 150 bar P/W,on extended pole made for the job but look around as they are heavy.Much quicker and no TFR or virasol.I empty gutter and flush with tap water. You get a 360 degree Lupe( U SHAPE) FOR THE TOP OF THE POLE. But this will send all the water on your head so look for a steal lupe ( j SHAPE) in the end to hold the jet at about 150  degree so you stand like as if you are cleaning windows.I also do pre- clean on connies and finish with pure.

i have a long telescopic jet wash lance that has its uses for certain jobs but find that cleaning it with the reach and wash is easier for me its all down to preference really and i know it goes without saying but when using one always make sure you check the gutter can take it first as some have been put up by cowboys lol
