has anyone got a vauxhall combo with a 350ltr tank in  

I have got a combo  crew cab im aloud it weight wise as have have been to a weigh bridge and have the spare weight

But im not sure if its ok to put all the extra weight on the rear axle my payload is 708

and the rear axle is rated at

plated 1110

kerb 564

yes have combo 350 litres =350 kg in weight you must also weight of all passengers and indeed equipment

I have a combo with a 350 litre tank but my van is the heavier payload model. When full it is pretty low to the floor. I wouldn't personally put a 350 in a standard van but I expect plenty have

with the tank over the rear axle it will put the van on the deck, will drive like an absolute dog and i wouldnt like to sit in the back.

it would be a very tight squeeze and be hard to work out of, where would you mount the reel lol?

i'd just change the van for a cargo van,

yes ive got a combo with 350 ltre tank but i upgraded to heavy duty springs when i had the tank bolted in cis i was told they look over weight when there not with standard springs

when it fill to the brim you wouldnt tell hardly any difference than when its empty

hello i had a 350 in a combo and with all the gear and a pasenger under half diecel tank , was ok going on normal roads 30 mph  but when on motorway and you take it to 60 mph you dont half feel it , it sways way too much ,  i upgraded to a transit a lot better

Im getting a new bigger two man van next year but wanted to see if it was ok to have more weight over the rear axle.

I will just have to keep doing what i already do carry 25ltr drums in the footwells when i need the extra water

only way to be sure is to take it to a weigh bridge

Over loading a van will not only strain axles and effect road sway but kill the clutch, stain the gearbox  drive shafts and c/v joints and reduce the van life.|I have a connect which can take 900kg and I never load more than 750 /800kg.

already taken it to a weigh bridge it can take the extra 150kg plus more
