Website constructive criticism
« on: July 17, 2012, 04:50:31 pm »
Hi chaps, if you have the time, could you have a look at my website.  Its a free one with google and im thinking about a complete overhaul so i was hoping you could tell me what you like about the site and what you dont like about the site?
it currently gets me on average a new customer a week but ive only ever got 2 commercial jobs from it.  my thinking is more, high quality images but please give me some pointers

getting one job a week off it!  mine has brought me only 1 job and one enquiry in 5 months!

how long did it take for your site to start bringing in work at this rate?

in terms of feedback, i like the photo of you on the landing page, and i like the detail you have out in about your service.   i also feel that you photos are good as they are definitely you, rather than stock photos, so it pulkls the site together.

I found Wordpress a pain to set up on my websites root directory but once that was done you soon get used to it and with all the plugins and wigets you can make a great site.

i think some of the word press templates look fine. If you see how long its been taking me to create some web art work for a couple of sites im doing its hard going.
