I have done work in the past for travellers and I never have had a problem, go to the main man and he will look after you.

yup no issues with any dealings with em so long as u dont come across as being green behind the ears then they will have u over no problem ... watch the kids as someone else has said and intro ur self to main man soon as u arrive on site.

Worked on a couple of traveller sites, builders cleans for ablution blocks.

Nice enough people, helpful and keep themselves to themselves. The kids are about 100 times cheekier than kids you may be used to so be mindful. They will have anything away that is there to be had, they see it more as getting what hey can than thieving, it's just their way. Be especially careful with cleaning chemicals as this could go pear shaped for you.

We were working for another company but I'd want cash up front if working direct for them as they'll have you over and tell you to put it down to experience  :o

I grew up with a couple as friends and they had balls of steel, always one scam or another.

There aere loads of travellers in my locality, and quite a few of them are customers.

They are housed in local council houses as there are no sites here. In one area known locally as the 'bullring' for very obvious reasons, it looks quite intimidating, and indeed, no-one goes there unless they have to. I clean every house there, plus a caravan parked on land between two of the houses. They are all good customers who look after me and have got me other family members as customers.

I do some others in another town 25 miles away. At first  some of them messed me around, but with patience and persistence, I have now won them over and it is all coming good! The kids can be a bit of a nightmare though!
